We use this on our back patio for our new plants, which we keep in jars as they sprout. This shelf is waist high, and is primarily suitable for small plants. The lower shelf could hold a large pot, but it's so limited vertically nothing could really grow up. I use this shelf for my gardening tools and water can.Assembly is simple. You pull it out of a box and unfold the legs and pull the shelves into place. No tools requires and no instructions required either. It was solid and well protected in shipping, with no defects found. The stain on the boards is largely consistent, with a couple of minor differences I didn't care about. I think the stain provides some water protection for the wood, and I think this could be used in the elements for a few years without issue.It looks great, really warm, and it's surprisingly sturdy for a folding wooden ladder basically. It's got a small footprint and easily packs so it's a great housewarming gift for an apartment dweller with a patio. I think the price makes it merely a good value, but can't think of any real problems I have with it.The first impression of this is the details gone towards making it. Good quality wood, well stained and the unit is 100% built in the box. You pull it out, clear the packaging and it folds out into a perfect sized 3 tier plant stand.I went over the construction and have zero issues with it. If you intend to use this outside in the weather, it may be worthwhile to get a can of clearcoat to spray over the entire thing to seal it up well, but that is not enough to detract a star off the review.I have this loaded up with several strawberry plants and it makes picking strawberries incredibly easy, as they cascade down the front and visually looks amazing on the front porch.5 stars, from me!Very cute and comes assembled. The wood seems a little thin so my only concern is how long it will last exposed to the weather.This wooden plant stand requires zero assembly! Just take it out of the box and fold it out into the 3 tier stand. So simple! The wood is beautiful, I have it out on my patio deck and it adds such a charming touch. I put my indoor plants on it when I bring them out to water and let them get some sun but will be using it mostly for our herbs.It is lighter than I thought it would be but when adding the pots with soil - it seems to put enough weight so it will stay put. We also sprayed it with clear coat so hopefully it will last us awhile.Love this 3 tiered ladder plant stand! You just pop it out of the box, slide it apart just like a ladder, and it’s ready to use. It looks attractive on my deck. I just planted the herbs- can’t wait until I can go out and snip some basil or cilantro! The wood is a bit on the light weight side, so if empty I would be concerned of it blowing over in the wind. Once I added the pots- full of dirt- I feel like it will stay out.This is a great plant stand for indoor or outdoor use. It's made from solid pine and the materials are all quality. This is really sturdy and strong. I love that it can fold up for moving or seasonal planting.Got this for my back deck to put all my flower pots on and it look beautiful.. was easy to assemble.. would recommend itI wanted to love these shelves but there were a lot of defects… everything is completely fixable with some wood glue but, had this been a gift for someone I would have been pretty disappointed.I love that the shelves come pre assembled & ready to go. All you need to do is open the frame & drop each shelf down. I tightened a few bolts by hand & they seem pretty sturdy.This will be perfect for my garden supplies. Hoping the wood holds up outside. If this didn’t come with the defects pictured I would have given 5 stars.
