First, thanks to Bobby H. I took the advice to buy my own wall anchors. The included wall anchors may have worked but they did not look very strong. Second, do not use the included wall stickers. They were each at least 1/8th of an inch out with the required spacing of the wall brackets. The installation is not trivial but it isn't horrible either. Don't tighten everything up before testing the fit of the shelf. Once up the shelves are sturdy enough for general use. I would not place anything very heavy (say more than 20 Lb) onto them.The shelves themselves are fine -- the finish is a bit rustic but all in all they look fine. Installation was maddening for the simple reason that the plastic wall anchors sent with the shelves are worthless -- all but two of them broke (split) as I was screwing them into the wall. I gave up on them, went to Lowes, and bought decent wall anchors, which went in fine. It is still difficult to get the mounting hardware to line up perfectly with the holes (even using the provided template), and the installed shelves have a decided downward tilt (see photo). They look fine from the front view and I don't think they'll fall off the wall, but all in all I can't give these a high rating for ease of installation or sturdiness.The shelves are great. But I do not recommend using the anchors. They break when you try to insert them. I suggest using your own anchors.Easy to install. The shelves met expectations and came in perfect condition.The 17” shelves were easy to set up since the templates, hardware, and molly screws were provided. They are the sturdiest shelving units I’ve encountered because to the metal “T” bars attached to a wall then embedded into the shelves. And… they look great on the wall.It wasn’t hard to install but the wood is not sturdy enough. After installation it was wobbly and does not look like you can put anything too heavy.I liked these shelves, they are light and a nice colour (grey). Please do not install these unless you are certain you have studs to hold them. This caused us so much grief and extra work. They definitely need a stud placement.
