Nice shelf. “Wood” shelves feel hollow but I painted it to match my bathroomThis is the second set I get.The first I installed in my bathroom and it has been super useful for lotions, tp, etc. I managed to declutter my bathroom completely and it looks wonderful.The second set I got for my spare room, which I use mostly for crafting and reading. I installed them both using a drill, a hammer and a pencil to mark, that sounds easy enough. They hold a decent amount of stuff.Not well constructed very wobbly when assembledFirst of all I forgot to level this shelf before drilling holes in my wall and I was lucky enough that my measuring was on point because it was straight on the wall. Pleasure measure accurately and use a pencil to mark off where to drill. Tip: I help the metal pieces over my scratches (where the “corners” were) so I could scribble in the holes to make a circle shape for easy drilling.I bought these shelves to hang pictures/decor over my bed. I followed the instructions step by step and they were very easy. It all arrived in perfect pieces.What you need: hammer, drill/drill set, and a level.The only hard part about this is marking/measuring my wall. I was terrified it would not be able to be supported since I did not check for studs first but it is quite sturdier.Start off marking the spots, drill the hole, push in the anchor, screw in the screws with a driver 75% of the way, hook in metal pieces, adjust screws to your liking, then screw one the wood pieces. Overall it took me less an hour to set up. The instructions are super helpful and the product looks accurate to the picture. I was able to put several pictures, a wood deer and a ceramic pumpkin container on this and it didn’t not fault.At first when I hooked in the metal pieces that the whole thing was flimsy, but I realized I just need to put more space or less space in the space between the wall and head of the screw then pull down so it “locks” in place. After I locked it down it felt much more secured and wouldn’t wobble. Screwing the wood boards was difficult due to the angle but doable.I loved this so much I ended up buying the tiny 3 set shelves from the same brand/seller. These shelves are cute and seem sturdy if you do everything accurately. I love that the wood looks natural. I can’t confirm if it really is real but who cares it’s sturdy, a lil heavy like wood and has striating streaks and discoloration. I would definitely recommend this. It gives my room a more rustic vibe I wanted.Bought these for my husband's office to display collectables. They look really nice (the walls are avocado green), but they are not the sturdiest of shelves. While assembling, it was really easy to strip the screw as the shelves are a very light wood (almost balsa-wood-like). Once I knew that, I went easier on the rest of assembly, and they went together easily. They won't hold anything heavy, but for the price, they look pretty good.Would I buy this product again? Yes! In fact I put it on my social media and immdiately had a friend reach out and purchase one too! Plus, I've seen this brand go on lightening deal with two different products. Gotta love saving a few $.Pros:-Looks great and pulls our little bathroom together.-Metal is sturdy on the wall! I was surprised by it's sturdiness.-Shelf can hold a decent amount of weight, and no bowing! I have vintage metal book ends and a metal statue, and it hasn't had any problems!Cons:-A bunch of reviews said they weren't sure if the shelves are real wood-- to be clear: they are not. At this price I'm not disappointed, but wanted to be clear.-I wasn't a fan with how you have to essentially push a screw up into the board to secure it. It's not that easy. I ended up marking with a pencil, took the shelf off, put the screw in to make the hole, replaced the shelf properly, and then screwed on. All in all it works, but the directions weren't helpful here.As far as installing, I had NEVER used the power drill my father bought me two Christmas's ago... I measured this thing out and checked those measurements entirely too many times, BUT it was a success! I'm sure for a more experienced power drill user this will be easy... And even if you're not? Don't worry. If I can figure it out, so can you!Love love love these shelves. Easy to install - great value. Got 5 of themUpdate: The company reached out to me about this issue and gave me a full refund. They had been having this issue with a few other customers and they are working to fix the issue. Im impressed with the customer service so changed to 5 stars. Now my shelf is up and looks great!Bought this shelf recently, everything was in the box that was needed, however the directions that were included in my package were not correct.In the instructions one of the first steps is to measure and drill holes that are 15" apart horizontally as well as 14.2" apart vertically, making a rectangular shape for the brackets to sit on the screws. These measurements are very incorrect for the shelving unit that was in my box.The directions go on to say that there should be 1.75" shelf overhang in each side of the bracket. If the mounting holes are 15" apart and there is a 1.75" overhang on each side that would mean the shelf would be 18.5" long. The shelf itself is 23.5" long and the correct mounting holes should have been drilled at 20" apart horizontally and 18.75" apart vertically, far off from the instructions 15" apart horizontally and 14.2" vertically. Im not sure if I got sent the wrong directions or what but they definitely are not correct for the shelving that I was sent. Not to mention drywall achors are near inpossible to remove without further damaging the drywall now they will need to be pushed through the drywall, and then spackled to patch the holes.Love love love these shelves! They were so easy to put up and added such a nice look above the toilet in our bathroom! Great price too!Perfect little addition to give your room a little farmhouse feel. The shelves are a bit narrow, so putting anything big like canisters on them isn't a good idea. Really cute for decorative stuff and definitely better suited for lighter weight items. Easy to set up (recommend two people though) too!Nice and sturdy, easy to assemble and easy to mount.I found this product very easy to install and I got exactly what I expected after ordering it. This is the perfect item for someone looking to achieve a Rustic yet Modern look. I use mine to store coffee's and teas in my kitchen. Very Happy.These shelves are exactly what I was looking for, great quality especially for the price! I liked the first set so much I ordered a second set.
