I read the other reviews that warned of issues with the included anchors and decided to ignore them since the ones sent with my shelf looked different than their pictures. Whoops! They were incredibly unstable, broke during installation, and left huge holes in my drywall. The shelf itself is a very beautiful wood and I’m excited to use it once it’s properly mounted with higher quality materials!Nice finishI love these little shelves and while the "floating" feature would have worked perfectly for my little art corner, the bones of my house didn't agree. They can easily support the weight of items I want to keep at hand and help keep my desk clear for painting and art.The boards used are really nice! Real wood, looks really nice in the room. Matches my futon perfectly. I want to get more of these now that I know how well made they are (the holes in the shelves for the mounting rods are close to 16" on center - 15.75" I think.) and I see lots of places I could use them in my home.The problem we had: the studs where we wanted to hang the shelves were not spaced to the standard 16" on center. No! We had 15" on center where I want them and 17" on center to the next stud! So, while they would have worked beautifully, and looked so pretty doing it, I had to order shelf brackets - which turned out fine and probably increases the amount of weight I can pile on them.I'm very happy with them.I bought these shelves to hold some containers of loose leaf tea, and create some nice decoration. It worked really well and looks very nice.These shelves are solid, no complaints about the structure of the shelves.The only pain point I have with these is they come with some decent wood screws if you are putting them directly into a stud, but the drywall anchors are rather weak. I couldn’t get them to work for me, and so I used mostly my own drywall anchors. As a result the screws I used have a slightly different head than the ones provided. So this prevents the shelves from sitting exactly flush with the drywall. This really doesn’t bug me all that much, but that prevents them from getting 5 stars in my book.purchased raw wood with the intention of staining them to my desired color. These were torched by flame for asthenic so be aware.Pros: mounting brackets are nice. Shelves are pre drilled and will align and level nicely.Boards were cut and sanded in great quality and no chips or dents.Cons: I had to replace the wall anchors. The included anchors were just cheap and caused the shelves to sag and would have tore up the drywall.The pictured anchor is what I used as a replacement, NOT what is included.Absolutely love these natural wood shelves (and the fact that you can stain them if you want). I see many people mentioning them not being sturdy and the greatest culprit is the included plastic drywall anchors - they’re horrendous. After it completely ruined my wall the first attempt, I managed to find these small drywall anchors at home and used them instead for PERFECTLY flush/strong shelves. Do NOT use the anchors that come with the shelves. Use smaller ones and you can still use the same screws they come with and/or screws at home that are a bit shorter.My 4 stars is because the edge distance is about an 1/8" to 1/4" different from each side. This made it a bit awkward to measure and mount on either side of my fireplace. Otherwise very nice and sturdy.Excelente calidad
