I purchased this set 2 years and was very satisfied with it. About a week ago, the shower head buttons failed (no flow, erratic behavior, etc). I sent an email with a copy of the Amazon invoice to GROHE Customer Support; I explained the problem and asked if it was covered under warranty. Two days later an email came back indicating a replacement was on its way. It has arrived and the shower is now functioning like new again. Support like you hope it would be!With respect to quality, I read the other reviews knocking the "plastic" hose. This is not one of those cheap plastic things that attempt to look like a coiled metal hose; rather it appears to be smooth, high-grade, flexible tubing, that is not bad looking at all. If you look at metal hose alternatives, note that the metal is just a coil sheath surrounding what can be a very flimsy inner plastic tube in which the water flows. I think it is more likely that those hoses would fail before the GROHE hose, which is quite handsome, IMHO. Also, being smooth, the GROHE hose is easier to keep clean.The bar and slider are first-rate and the adjustability in attaching to the wall is very nice. That leaves the shower head. I don't mind the plastic and the spray functions are very useful. My quarrel would be with the grip. When wet and soapy, some square edges and/or knurled surfaces would be helpful. It doesn't slip out of your hand, but it could be a better back scratcher if you could hold it from turning better! And, of course, one shower head failed after two years; but GROHE immediately replaced it, no questions asked.I highly recommend this product; however, I am shocked at how much the price has gone up in two years.
