Using this to replace an older Grohe shower head. This one has a larger head than the original, and is sharper looking. Very easy to replace to screw it on. Used a microfiber cloth with a plumbing wrench to get a good grip to take the old one off and put this one on.Should have paid attention to previous reviews, no matter which spray setting you use, it is very weak. I like me inexpensive Delta one better.Being a Grohe, I expected it to be better. In terms of build quality, it is short of being excellent as the switching of mode (between massage and rainshower) is not smooth and there are 4 clicks instead of 3 clicks (given that there are only 3 modes). As for water pressure, it is significantly reduced compared to the previous shower head.This hand shower is larger than others on the market and is very well made although there are some plastic parts particular where the water comes out and where you screw into the connecting tube.I've had this in my cart for over a year before I purchased it. I think it's a very sleek looking shower head, but water barely comes out of it! With my last shower head that was $22, the water pressure was very strong. Don't even bother considering this if your home has poor water pressure as it'll likely just slowly drip out of this Grohe shower head.No complaints.Do not buy the Grohe Euphoria product, or any product that relies on a connection with parallel threads without a O-ring or rubber washer seal on the end to butt up against. As stated by others on the Internet, the Grohe products that rely on parallel threads and no O-ring or gasket are very prone to leaking inside the wall. I bought the product before reading about the leaking problem and therefore installed plumbing, shower wall-board and tile to accommodate the Grohe Product’s unique requirements. Once a leak appeared on my installation, and I read on the internet about the common leaking problem, I was stuck with trying to make it work without leaking. After four tries, using various methods (most recommended by Grohe tech reps) and a week after my last installation attempt, no leak has reappeared — yet.Please wish me luck and don’t buy any Grohe product that uses parallel threads without a O-ring or gasket.P.S. In case you don’t know what parallel threads are, they spiral like all threads, but the male connection does not expand the further it is inserted to make a seal with the female connection that contracts as it goes in. Lubricated by teflon tape, this makes a tight seal. The parallel threads on the Grohe product are more like a nut running onto all thread with no stopping point. Grohe’s ealing cord or Blue Monster teflon tape are suppose to stop leaks. Good luck with that.Product is made of plastic when purchaser is led to believe it's metal!This is an incredibly disappointing product. The water flow from this shower head is weak and not effective for anyone with medium or long hair that needs a decent flow of water to wash hair. Do not buy.Installed all worked except the massage feature. Had to return and no others in stock. Grohe has seemedto miss the mark on quality these past few years. Had to replace catridges in the first two monthsof install on other Grohe faucets for the same washroom install.
